586 Days Down, 99 Days to Go!

We're finally in the double digits in the countdown to Elder Geoffrey Whetstone's homecoming! I have been waiting 586 days to be at 99 days, and I kept telling myself I would post the 99 day mark as my Facebook status when it was time. Time definitely has flown by these last few months, but I know once it gets down to the last month, time will probably go slow again! But 99 days is nothing and Geoff will be home in no time :)

I am so grateful for Geoff being on a mission. Even though it has been hard for my best friend to be thousands of miles away and 5 hours ahead of me, it's all been worth it. He's grown so much and loves the people of Brazil and teaching them the gospel. I appreciate his dedication to write to me every two weeks, even though it may take forever for his letters to get to me! I write him every two weeks as well but somehow he gets my letters much faster... as in it-only-takes-four-days-to-get-to-him faster. So unfair! I also am so happy we are able to email back and forth on Mondays without breaking the rules, since missionaries can now email their friends too!

This Sunday is Mother's Day, and Geoff will get to Skype home and video chat with his family for the last time before he comes home. I'm super jealous of his family! But at least I was able to Skype him over Christmas AND get a phone call a year ago at the airport before he left for Brazil (we may or may not have talked non-stop for two whole hours...!) I only have to wait 99 more days to hear his voice again, and his laugh which I miss the most!

So here's for finally being in the double digits until my best friend come home! Hooray! And look how much of a difference two years makes... two years older, wiser, and tanner too! At least his smile is the exact same :)

The Family Visits

My family came to visit this weekend! They were here Thursday night through Sunday morning. It was great seeing and spending time with them! It was so sad when they left.... I didn't want them to leave! Having them here was a great break from my normal, somewhat stressful, I-just-want-to-know-where-I'm-going-to-be-and-work-in-two-months life.

While I was at work on Valentine's Day on Thursday flowers were delivered to me from my family! They were tulips in a box with a vase I put together once I got back to my apartment. Most of the bulbs were closed, but within a few hours of putting them in water they opened up!

I also came home on Valentine's Day to find a letter waiting for me from Geoff! I don't think he plans for his letters to get to me on certain days, but for some reason they always arrive on the days that matter most! Both my birthdays I got letters from him, too. His letter made my day (like always)!

Because I'm weird, here are some photos of the tulips from when I first got them to how they look now. Geoff's letter is also included in the first photo:
The box the flowers came it and how the flowers looked.
A few hours after being put in water.
A day after being put in water.
3 days after being put in water!
How they look today :)
I was able to see my Aunt Barbie and cousin Derek while my family was visiting, as well as my cousin Brianne and her family. Friday we hung around the malls and went to Scheels, a huge outdoor sports store. They have everything in there you could need when it comes to being outdoors and sports! Then on Saturday we went to Clark's Planetarium and did some exploring in there.

I ate way too much while my family was here... I definitely am going to start back on my diet and eating healthy again! We went to a place called "Pat's Barbeque" that was featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives." It was pretty good and it's only a few blocks away from my apartment. I think the best barbeque I have had though is in Orem called "Five Start Barbeque." That place was amazing! Guy Fieri needs to go there!

I got to meet my Aunt Barbie's new puppy, a miniature schnauzer named "Big Mack Daddy" haha. He is the cutest little thing! I should have taken a picture. I carried him around while I was hangout with my Aunt and her family at an RV show yesterday. He fell asleep in my arms! It makes me want a puppy even more than I already do! In a few years when I have a yard big enough for a dog to roam in, I will get the cutest puppy there is :)
On the ferris wheel at Scheels!

The cutest owl necklace ever created.
There's a lot more from this weekend I could talk about, but a short summary is good enough! Happy President's Day!

Birthday and Christmas 2012

I've had a wonderful birthday on the 20th and Christmas with friends and family! I was sung to at work and fellow co-workers made brownies and homemade mint ice cream that was delicious. Sarah, my fellow intern, brought me Einstein Bagels and their amazing strawberry cream cheese! Those bagels are to die for.
I even got a special package from my parents delivered to me at work that was filled with candy and fun birthday stuff! There was even a microwavable cake mix that made the perfect little cake just for me!
Microwave cake directions
I skyped with my family and they sang Happy Birthday to me while I pretended to blow out the candle lighter... Quite an interesting experience for sure!
After work, my roommate Jessica and friend Candice took me out to dinner at Olive Garden for my birthday. Jessica bought my dinner for me and Candice gave me this bedspread that I have been in love with ever since I first saw it on her bed! Now my bed is in my favorite blue and green colors :)
Now I am home and celebrated my birthday and Christmas with family. Christmas was so wonderful as it always is. Even though I was with my family the majority of the day, I was able to go over to the Whetstone's and Skype with Geoff! That was definitely the highlight of my day. It was so weird to see his face over a computer and talk with him like that after not seeing him for so long. I loved hearing all about what he's been up to and life in Brazil. I was so grateful the Whetstones invited me over and seeing Geoff's reaction when I got there. Only 7 more months and he will be back!!!!!!
Not the best picture... but it will do!

Here are some other pictures from Christmas.
Best present ever!
I'm home for another week and plan to make the most of it! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year!

Tin Foil and Gift Giving

Last Monday was like any other Monday night. After FHE I watched some Hulu, read a chapter out of my book then turned off the lights and crawled into bed. Little did I know that the sun's cousin would be blaring into my window and make my room as bright as day!

My room has been brighter than I use to at night with the street lights coming in. But the apartment's next door to me that are being built still are now finished, and now the outside light above the stairs is turned on.... Right. Outside. My. Window.

Meet the sun's cousin. Mi window is the 2nd one up closest to the camera, right above the gray bricks.
My solution to the problem: tin foil. I went to WalMart and asked if they had special window darkeners for home windows like you can get for cars. But the guy I asked said they only had them for cars. So until I find something better to darken my windows, this tin foil will have to do.
It looks weird from the outside. Hopefully no one judges my strange ways. I have been sleeping so much better in a pitch dark room, and that's all that matters to me!
My aunt came to Utah because my cousin Brianne's husband surprised Brianne with a trip to Cabo for Christmas. How sweet is that? He told her on Saturday and they left the very next day. He flew my aunt in so she could watch their kids while they went to Cabo. I was able to go to Temple Square and also meet my Grandpa Chlarson's sister, Joyce, who only lives a few miles away from me!

The Christmas season is upon us. As I have gotten older, I now love giving more than receiving by far. My ward has a giving tree, and I picked an ornament and was able to buy a present for a little boy. I was glad I was able to serve someone in need!
The best thing I did this week was put together a little Christmas package for Elder Whetstone. I wasn't going to send him anything special because sending a package isn't cheap, but I found I could send a larger envelope for only $16.95! I was so excited and went right to work so I could send him his package and hope that he would get it by Christmas. I send a stripped tie I found in both our favorite blue and green colors, some snowflakes since he loves snow but won't see any until next year, eggnog taffies since eggnog is one of his favorite drinks, a couple of candy canes to be festive, some CTR rings that he could give out to the Brazilian children (he always talks about how much he loves the kids) and a photo album I put together with photos of me holding up messages I wrote on my whiteboard. That was pretty fun to do! I'm so so so excited for him to get his surprise Christmas package!
A girl I intern with named Sarah and I decided we needed to decorate our little cubicle since it's Christmastime. I had extra snowflakes from Geoff's package that were red, since I only sent him the white ones. So I brought them for us to use as decorations as well as extra candy canes I had from Geoff's package as well. I had no idea how to use the candy canes, but Sarah came up with a clever idea to hang them with paper clips... she's so smart and resourceful! Now our cubicle is all ready for the holidays!
This upcoming week is busy but should be fun!

Living in Salt Lake: Week 3 Update

I have survived my third week living in Salt Lake. This week has been the most eventful week so far, and probably will be the most eventful week I have in a while! There is a lot talked about in this blog post... just a fair warning :)

On Monday, we had a stake FHE dance at Wheeler Historic Barn. I loved it there! We were out in the country and the smells reminded me of home. It was a pretty cool place. If I had kids, I would totally take them there. There's cows, horses, goats, rabbits, and who knows what else. for kids to pet. They have a mini straw maze and a pumpkin patch for kiddos as well. There's a few other fun activities for families to do as well.

We were in this gorgeous barn for the dance. And since it was a stake, there were a lot of people there. My roommate and one of our friends danced every so often. The best part for me was seeing my bishop and his wife dance during a Lady Gaga song. It made me laugh so hard! My bishop, Dwight Day (doesn't that sound like a weatherman name?) and his wife are probably in their late 60's or early 70's, so seeing a cute older couple dancing to the younger generation's music was quite the site to see!

Before the dance started, I made a new friend. Isn't she just beautiful? That's what I thought, until she bit my finger on accident when I wasn't paying attention. I was already licked by her nasty cow tongue a few times!
We got a new dining room table for our apartment! It is pretty exciting. I was suppose to be picking one up on Wednesday and meeting my cousin, Derek, halfway there since he has a truck he could haul it in. But we got to the lady's house and she had sold it without informing me! So lame. I set up a time and everything to pick up the table. I felt really bad for making Derek drive there for nothing. We both drove a half hour there and back for nothing!

But the next day on Thursday, I found another table I really liked. The one I was suppose to get was wood with two wooden chairs, but this one was also wood but with 4 leather chairs! And it was only $20 bucks more than the other table. The lady was able to deliver it to us since she only lived 10 minutes away and I didn't have a truck or van to pick it up. I am in love with the table! It eventually needs a little TLC with some sanding and staining, but the little metal ball details around the edge are so cute! The leather chairs are all in good condition as well. It makes our apartment look so much better. Now we just need to fill the awkward space by our entry way with something and also get some bar stools for our kitchen counter and we're in business!
I also bought this mini dresser to put my bedroom TV on! I plan on painting it black or white to match the rest of my bedroom furniture.
After waiting an extra week, I finally received Geoff's letter on Thursday! I normally get his letters in around 15 days counting the weekends, but this letter took 23 days! I'm just glad it got here safe and sound because I was starting to think it may have gotten lost somewhere along the way. I just need to accept that getting mail from Brazil is unpredictable. His letter was definitely worth the wait. I love the little details he puts into his letters that lets me know he is thinking of me. It makes me feel very special :)

I don't usually share personal stuff dealing with Geoff, but I have to brag a little bit! Ever since we first started dating, we would say "I love you to the moon and back" to each other. It fit with us because Geoff loves the planets and stars and would totally work for NASA if he could. Plus we both love to stargaze! But anyways he sent me this colored drawing and it just melted my heart! I thought the "love rocket" covered in hearts was a nice touch!
The best drawing ever.
Geoff and his companion are doing so great. I am so glad he is having some great experiences he can look back on someday. He truly loves being a missionary and serving the Lord. He really cares about the people he teaches and baptizes and works hard to make sure they stay active in the church. He is one busy missionary! I update his website whenever I get a letter, and you can check out the most recent updates here so you can see for yourself how busy he is!

I went to a bonfire on Friday with my roommate's friend, Megan and others from Megan's ward. We drove up to the mountains, and even though it was dark when we got there, I knew I would have to drive back up and see all fall-colored trees. I could tell it was gorgeous! The bonfire was way awesome. We made banana boats which are so good. If you've never made them, you have to during your next bonfire! It's hard to resist a chocolate and marshmallow-filled banana. Others brought a ton of food as well.
On Saturday, I went with my friends Candice and Whitney to "Fight Cancer With Color," a fundraising event held in my cousin Brianne's neighborhood. Jack Rapp is a father of four who has leukemia. I had never been to a color chalk fight before but it was a lot of fun!
Me, Candice and Whitney
Jayni and Mason! Stop growing please!
When I got back from the Fight Cancer With Color event, I saw that one of my Deseret news stories had been published online! I wrote this story last week so I have been waiting for it to be posted. I got to interview Brandon Mull, author of the popular Fablehaven series. He has two new books coming out that I read before I interviewed him. When I went to see on online, I noticed it was a top story meaning that it is one of the top 10 that is being read the most by our readers! I was pretty excited. You can read the story here.

Another story I wrote was posted online at the same time, and I found out a couple hours later that both my stories were published in the Sunday paper! That makes a total of 4 stories put in the paper and 6 online. I hope a couple of other stories I have written get put online this week.
"Top Story" on the home page!
Main story in "Family Life/ Arts & Entertainment" section.
The story on the bottom left is another one I wrote!
This past week I also interviewed an up-and-coming band called Chasing Chance. They are from Orem and will be performing with The All-American Rejects, Boys Like Girls and Parachute next Tuesday. I had so much fun interviewing them. They said they were going to send me some free tickets to their concert, which I was super excited because I am obsessed with the band Parachute! When I went to check my mailbox on Saturday, there were the tickets! I love the perks of working for Deseret News!
Concert tickets for October 23rd!
And that is a brief overview (sorry it doesn't seem brief but it really is!) my crazy busy week. I had so much fun. I wish every week would be like this one!

Message for Monday

Today, Elder Whetstone sent me an email. But it wasn't just any email. It contained a good reminder that I feel is important for all of us to remember. It was the perfect Monday Message for me. Here is what he said at the end of the email:

"Live for today and not tomorrow. If we wait for tomorrow, we will miss today. Always live each day to the fullest by loving and learning."

I have been forgetting this a lot lately. I try to get through the days because I just want to graduate! I keep looking forward to tomorrow and missing the great things that can be found today.  I need to live in the moment today, and not dwell so much on what could happen tomorrow.

I appreciated when Elder Whetstone mentioned to "live each day to the fullest by loving and learning." We should always be eager to learn something new each day and expand our knowledge. And everything we do for others should be done in love.

So, are you living your life to the fullest today, or are you waiting for something big to happen tomorrow? Don't wait!

The Call

Yesterday was just like any other day. I got up, went to work, and came home. Normally I would go work out after I got off of work. But not yesterday.

I have been waiting since last November for Geoff to call me when he was at the airport on his way to Brazil. I missed his call last November when he called me at the Salt Lake airport to go to California, because he had told me he wouldn't have time to call anyone. So like I do every night, I turned my phone on silent and slept until right before my alarm went off (I am scared to death of my alarm clock... my body somehow always knows when it's about to go off so I wake up and turn it off a couple of minutes before it's about to go off). I woke up the next morning with a missed call and a voicemail. I started listening to the voicemail and heard, "Hey Kylie, it's Geoff! I was hoping you'd pick up, but that's ok...." Before even paying attention to the rest of the message, I said out loud, "Who on earth is Geoff?" because it didn't sound like the Geoff I knew at all! Weird I know. I startled my roommate and she looked at me as if I was going crazy. Then I realized who it was and was so upset and angry at myself for missing the call. I wanted to stay in bed all day and be mad!

I was so eager for Geoff to call me this time around, and I for sure would not let myself miss his call. He said he would have plenty of time to call me once he got to Georgia, because he had a 5-hour layover before he boarded the plane that would take him and another Elder to Brazil. So at least this time I knew for sure to expect a call... unlike last November!

I probably checked my phone every 30 seconds all... day... long... even though Geoff emailed me his itinerary with all his flight information on it. I even tracked Geoff's flight as it was flying from California to Georgia. My step-dad does this, and I always secretly thought it was weird. But I guess I am the weird one now!

Geoff's flight was a little over 4 hours long, and he was on the plane during the exact same time I was at work. I got off right when his plane landed. I was so happy that his schedule matched mine so perfectly! Once I got off work, I rushed home and tried to act calm and natural, even thought my heart was pounding because I knew any second Geoff would be calling me! I don't think I have been so excited for something in so long. And when I say "so long," I mean "a really long time"... I don't even get that excited for Christmas or my birthday anymore. I would rather sleep in on Christmas morning than to get up way too early to open presents!

At 2:36, a half hour after I got home, my phone rang and showed that someone was calling me from Atlanta, Georgia. I answered all excitedly and started freaking out when I heard Geoff's voice. He was so excited too and we seriously acted like little school children going outside for recess to play on the swings or something. I felt like I had so much to say to him, but didn't know how to say it because I was just in shock to be talking to him on the phone!

After a few minutes (more like 15), we settled down and started talking like civilized people. I told him all about my classes, work, dieting, working out, so-excited-to-graduate-in-2-months life. And he told me all about his awesome, spiritual, finally-going-to-Brazil-after-waiting-8-months missionary self. I can't even describe in words how great it was to be talking normally to him! It still seems like a dream, and that I never really talked to him on the phone. But I did! And I am so grateful I was able to.

Geoff is becoming such an amazing guy. I can tell he is the happiest he has ever been in a long time. He loves sharing the gospel and serving the Lord. He even taught me a shortened version of a lesson he has taught many times. It's crazy how he could reference so many scriptures without having to look at notes or anything! He even knew the exact verses, and would tell me to "skip the next two and read the third." He is such a good teacher, too. He would be like, "So what does that scripture saying?" or "What do those words mean to you?" And once I answered, he would add some input before continuing onto the next scripture. Once he was done with his little lesson, he said, "I am the happiest person in the airport right now, because I was able to show you exactly what I  do everyday. It's the best thing in the world!"

He is so passionate about the gospel. He has said he never knew how fascinating the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price are. He's already so knowledgeable. It's amazing how different people are when they are missionaries. It definitely has to be one of the best experiences ever, considering you are doing nothing else but learning and teaching about Jesus Christ all the time.

After what seemed like 20 minutes, Geoff asked how long we had been talking for. I looked at my phone, and it said we had been talking for 2 hours! Time flew by so fast. How come when you're waiting for something you are really looking forward to, time is slower than a snail, but then once the thing you have been waiting for is actually happening, it flies by way too fast? It's just crazy and not fair! We ended up talking for this long:

Yes. 2 hours and 24 minutes. Such a long time, but it really wasn't long enough!

I will never forget how hard it was to say goodbye to Geoff. He felt so bad having to leave, but he hadn't eaten all day and he still needed to find his gate and the Elder he was meeting up with. I just get silent when I know I'm about to lose it... and he knew right away that I was crying. I just started bawling and I felt so bad, because I am so happy for him because he is so happy and growing so much, but when I cry it seems like I'm sad. He tried to comfort me by telling me I was a strong person and time will fly by and before we both knew it, he would be home. I couldn't even spit out any words because I was just crying out of control! I wanted to tell him how happy I was for him, what an amazing guy he is becoming, and so much more. But all I could say was, "I'm so proud of you." He started getting a little emotional after I said that too, and told me that those words meant a ton to him. He is trying so hard to make me and everyone else proud. But he tried hard to not cry... "it's embarrassing crying in front of a bunch of strangers in an airport," he said.

I've been up and down ever since that phone call. I'll be really happy one minute thinking about how I was able to hear Geoff's voice, then I'll start getting teary-eyed the next because I'll start thinking about saying goodbye to him. I think that was one of the hardest thing I've ever had to go through! I probably experienced every type of emotion within those 2 and a half hours.

It's crazy that even though Geoff is now far, far away in the land of Ribeirao Preto in Brazil, my feelings for him and our relationship grow more everyday. It's weird to think that experiences like that are even possible, but now I know they are because I am experiencing it at this very moment.

223 days down, 507 more to go :)

It's amazing what a little faith and a positive attitude can do! can

Elder Whetstone inspired me earlier this week. He's been waiting for quite a while to find out when he gets to go to Brazil. His Mission President kept telling him that he would be leaving within a few days, then his visa wouldn't come like his President had anticipated, so he had to wait longer. Poor guy. It must be hard being all packed thinking you're going to leave soon then find out you're staying a while longer!

After a few weeks of reading in letters and emails about his complaints and disappointments, his last email was filled with positivity and gratitude. He was transferred to a new ward last week and wasn't too happy about it at first, but now his attitude has totally changed! Here are some things he said in his email:

"So my Mission President hasn't called me yet... but he will call. Today. I have faith. I am really enjoying my time here in my new ward. My two companions are fun. At first I was really frustrated when I left Whittier, but it has been a great learning experience that I am grateful for. I'm also learning a bunch of really cool doctrine that I wouldn't have learned if I didn't come here. I think that's a reason I'm still here in California."

A few hours after I got that email, he emailed me saying that he is officially leaving for Brazil May 7th! I was super excited when I heard that. Then it got me thinking... isn't it ironic that before, whenever Geoff was negative, it was as if he would never be leaving for Brazil, but then on the same day he sees the positivity in why he is not only still in California, but in a new ward as well, that is the day he finds out the day he is leaving for Brazil? Pretty crazy!

I am so proud of Elder Whetstone and being such a great example. I am glad he has been able to find the positive even though it was surrounded by much negativity. I don't have any doubt that the Lord was teaching him some life lessons by blessing him with his final itinerary on the day he had a bunch of faith and a positive attitude!

This is Elder Whetstone with a 9-year-old boy that was baptized right before he left Whittier. Notice the CTR ring on his finger. That's right. I got that for him!

6 months down!

Elder Whetstone has officially been a missionary 6 months today! I feel like the days are going slow, but the months are just speeding by.

I think he is so cute in this picture :) I am so grateful for him working so hard and being such a great example to me and his siblings. I am even more grateful that I have gotten a letter every single week he has been out. Don't believe me? Here is proof!

27 letters total in 26 weeks... That's one a week plus an extra one that I got ON the day of my birthday! I am going to miss these weekly letters once he gets to Brazil. We decided to write every other week instead of weekly like we have been. But not getting a letter for 4 weeks after he writes it... that's going to be hard! Oh well. I have been spoiled rotten for the last 26 weeks.

Geoff was told he would either be leaving for Brazil either next week on Tuesday or the Tuesday after that. So hopefully it's this coming Tuesday! He is so ready to go to Brazil.

Today I will be sending him his final package, since I really don't want to spend $30 bucks to send him one in Brazil! It's an Easter/ celebrate leaving for Brazil finally package! I made his favorite monster bars and did this cool activity for him called "The Easter Story in Eggs." It was an awesome idea that I found here, if you want to check it out! It's suppose to be like the  12 days of Christmas, but I didn't find the idea fast enough so he won't get to open an egg a day like how it is suppose to go.

I'm just so happy for Geoff! He's 1/4 of the way done :)

Choose the Right

So today, I went and bought Elder Whetstone's birthday present.

It's a CTR ring! I wanted to get Geoff a CTR ring for his last birthday since he would be going on a mission in 6 months, but he doesn't wear any jewelry and he had told me to not get one for him because he would never wear it. So I didn't. But in his last letter to me, he hinted that he would like a CTR ring this year. He said something along the lines of, "All the Elders in my apartment wear CTR rings, and I think they are so cool." He also said what he thinks his ring size is. Very smooth, Geoff.

The ring is titanium with a carbon fiber inlay. I love how there is black underneath a clear layer, and it looks like a weaved fabric pattern. There were around 15 different rings to choose from. I'm not a big fan of the spinner type, and there were some that the CTR looked a little goofy for my taste.

I love my CTR ring. I got it for my 16th birthday and have worn it 99% of the time! It's such a great reminder to always choose the right at all times. I'm glad Geoff will finally get to have his own CTR ring!

I know if Geoff were to go into Deseret Book and pick himself out a CTR ring, he would definitely choose this one! Happy 20th birthday in a week, Elder Whetstone! I can't wait until you get your awesome ring!

Half way through fall semester

I can't believe my last fall semester here at BYU-Idaho is half way over! Time really has flown. I should be sleeping right now, but I felt like I needed to blog about something and I don't know what... maybe it will come to me as I'm typing? I guess we'll see!

This weekend, I had a phone interview with Deseret News. I'm guessing I didn't get my other internship that I wanted since they never called me back. But I guess I wasn't meant to intern there right now! Anyways, the phone interview went pretty well. I felt it was rushed but that's ok. The editor on the phone that interviewed me praised me instead of criticized me like the guy editor did in my last interview. So I was glad and it made me feel good about myself. I will find out in a couple weeks if I get to intern there.

I have been feeling a little sick this weekend. I get the chills off and on and my head keeps throbbing off and on as well. Not fun! But I slept most of the day today because I have been so tired too, and that has helped me a lot. I am feeling much better now!

I was so out of it this morning, that this is how I made my bed:

I put my sheets over my comforter and didn't even realize it! I make my bed everyday... you would think I would notice not making my bed like I normally do. Oh well. It made me laugh once I realized how not-myself I was this morning! I am the ward chorister, and I couldn't even conduct the music properly during the hymns in sacrament. But I went home once sacrament ended, and slept, like I already mentioned.

Have I said how much I miss Geoff lately? If I haven't said it, I'm think about it all the time! I felt so spoiled this week, because on Monday I got an email AND a letter from him, then I got another letter on Friday. Two letters in one week! I love hearing how he is doing and seeing him change and be so spiritual. He seriously is going to be an awesome missionary. He says he can speak Portuguese without a problem now and is ready to leave the MTC. I don't blame him! I'm excited for tomorrow because he said he would email me back-and-forth for a little bit. Like MSN Messenger chatting! Even though it will only be for like 15 minutes, I'm still so excited!

Well, I really should go to bed now. I hope the quick update on my life wasn't too boring! I promise the next blog post I post will be worthwhile!

Oh.. one last thing! I dyed my roommate's hair! I have never dyed someone's hair before, so I was way scared that I would ruin her hair! Luckily I didn't. In fact, I think I did a pretty good job if I say so myself!
