1. I get to go see Wicked for only $40 bucks! That is saving a good $120 bucks right there. And that includes transportation! I found a friend that is wanting to go too, so we signed up together! The only slightly downside is that it's during when my parents are here, so I will have to leave them for an evening. But they will be watching Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios so they will have a good time! And I will be with them after that for 4 days straight!
2. I'm finally figuring out my work schedule and getting some days off for when my family comes. I should have all the days off I need to so I can be with them and have a fun time!
3. I convinced my parents to make reservations to go see and eat at a luau called "The Spirit of Aloha", at the Polynesian Resort, for one fancy dinner night to go out as a family. It's going to be so cool! Plus I miss Hawaii like crazy so it will help with my Hawaiian withdrawals. We're also going to eat at a Japanese place for lunch while we're at Epcot called Teppan Edo. I can't wait to eat delicious food finally instead of the boxed pasta and frozen dinners I eat almost every night!
... if you can't tell, I'm just really excited for my family to come here... IN 13 DAYS!
4. My apartment is scorching hot, we think the air conditioning is broken. But I finally went and bought a small fan to use when I'm sleeping, plus it will block the noise out since I go to bed so much earlier than my roommates that have the privilege of staying up late. Thank goodness for no more hot nights!
5. I am wanting to leave a couple days sooner than when I'm suppose to leave, which is on Friday, April 15th. This is because I start school on the 19th, so I would literally fly home, be there for a day to pack up everything I own, then drive to Rexburg the next morning. Too much traveling and packing in such a short amount of time for me! So I called and asked if I could leave on the 13th instead, since I wouldn't work on Thursday anyways. All I have to do is ask my manager for permission then they contact someone else who then approves me. I just can't leave 3 weeks before, which I'm only planning on leaving a day or two sooner. I am so glad my life will be less stressful when I come home, even if it's only for a day or two then on to school!
6. Tomorrow is my new favorite day of the week! Not only do I have Thursdays off, but Thursdays are also paydays :)
7. I am excited for my next couple of days off. Tomorrow I am going to Typhoon Lagoon. It wouldn't be that exciting normally, but I was never going to be able to go to again after February 27th unless I paid, but they made it free to us cast members all the way until June! So I can go as much as I want to before I leave! I can also go to Blizzard Beach when it opens in 3 weeks, which I didn't think I would get to. Blizzard Beach looks like a lot more fun than Typhoon Lagoon which is already a blast!
8. I am also going to Epcot tomorrow to see the Flower and Garden Festival going on right now. I will have to take pictures of the fun characters turned into topiaries! Then of Friday, my roommates and I are going to get pedicures in the morning and later that night I'm going to the Boardwalk with my friend Kristen. It's a resort with fun shops and good places to eat right across the water from Magic Kingdom!
9. My allergies have been killing me the last couple of days, and I woke up this morning feeling like death. Coughing, blowing my nose, itching my eyes, and sneezing today in the ticket booth was awful. But I'm feeling good now so hopefully I won't feel like dying tomorrow morning.
10. One of my roommates is making cupcakes, I can stay up late for once, therefore I am spending some quality bonding time with my fun roommates! A movie night with popcorn and my new fan blowing on us is sounding like heaven right now!
I will have some fun adventures with some new pictures to blog about soon, I promise! Oh, and I caught a ticket scammer today! More on this to come once I have time to type it all out!
I want to come share your life for one day...or two, three...well, whenever you'd get sick of me! This will be a part of your life that you will always look back on and see the carefree time it really was. It's hard to see it when you're in the midst of it. It will always make you smile....and you make me smile! Love you lil' niece!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! So much is going on in your life...that is fantastic! What great memories you are making and the experiences you are having are a once in a life time. I wish I could come visit you while you are there but I always wish I was with family! Oh and may I say that I am WAY jealous that you are going to Wicked!!! Even though I've seen it twice I don't think you can ever see it enough!!! Have fun!! You will love it!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you, miss you and I blowing you some kisses!
