3...2...1... Blast Off!

My friends and I decided to drive an hour to Titusville, a small town across the water from the Kennedy Space Center, to watch the Discovery launch for the final time! It was the closest spot we could go to and watch for free. I can't believe how cool it was. I video recorded it and took some pictures after wards. I'm glad I had the day off so I could go! Now I can say I watched a space shuttle launch into space!

Nothing else is new with me, just doing my normal thing at work. I'm getting too into my job now...I get SO frustrated when a Florida resident comes to my booth and wants just a one day ticket. I always tell myself, "Are they serious?" Florida residents get incredible deals on tickets for three days or more, and they only want to come one day? I try my best to keep a smile on my face, no matter how hard it gets!

I'm trying to plan a couple things to do outside of Disney... hopefully they work out so I can blog about them! I'm also getting a nice tan with the weather being so hot and sunny! Whether I have to get up at 5 in the morning for work or not, I still seem to always go to bed earlier than everyone else. I don't think I will ever know if it's the hot weather or work, but I get burnt out and am exhausted mostly every night!

Where has the month of February gone? Four more days and it will be March. I'm basically halfway done with this college program, but I don't know if I like that or not. I don't want to leave fun Florida, but I also miss my Rexburg friends. And Florida will be too hot once May comes around anyways. I wish I could come back whenever and spend a day at Disney! I will miss going to the parks whenever I want!

My family will be here in 19 days from today! I am so excited for them to come. It's going to be so crowded when they're here though. Soon the lines for rides will be ridiculously long with the big crowds of people. It was nice in January and the beginning of February to be able to do everything I wanted to do in one day. I hope they can still experience a lot!

  1. What a "blast"! (No pun intended!) I think it's wonderful you got to watch the space shuttle launch for the last time. That was on my bucket list but who knows now? I should have been an astronaut! It's always fascinated me. A little too late now! Love you muches!
