It has happened! I moved into my last apartment for my last semester. Pretty crazy that in just three months I will be graduating!
Here are a few highlights that have happened over the last week:
I colored Easter eggs the Friday before Easter with Leisha, her girls, and my wonderful grandparents! It was fun spending time with all of them. Leisha even got creative and got glue dots and glitter to decorate the eggs with! In the picture below, my egg is the blue one in the middle with the clear glitter dots :)
My best friend Holly and her 10-month-old Bentlee came to Ephrata! It was good to spend some time with them before I went back to school. During the couple of days we were together, we went to Maurices, had yummy shakes at DK's, pushed Bentlee on the swing at Lion's Park, got pedicures, and had a yummy potato soup dinner at my house! It was quite fun.
I have discovered Mr. Pumice. I scrubbed my feet and put lotion on afterwards, and the next morning, my feet were the softest they have been in a long time! Mr. Pumice is my new boyfriend that I will be spending lots of quality time with for now!
I started my job a couple of days ago, and I already have so much to do! Creating marketing campaigns, setting up meeting with Pathway's clients, writing news articles and putting them up on BYU-Idaho's website... all before Friday. I hope I can keep up with the fast-paced environment! But I laughed out loud when I saw my job title on my name tag. It makes my hard work all work it!
I haven't gone to my one normal class yet. My teacher is in India, so I don't have class until next Tuesday. I won't complain about that! I have been doing homework for my online class, and I go to my class for my senior project on Friday.
I am so happy because I just realized a couple days ago that I can see the temple from my living room apartment! I have never been able to see the temple before at my past apartments. It's pretty much awesome!
I started Nutrisystem today... and it's pretty tough! I'm hungry but I know after the first week I should be use to it. I just have to get use to the smaller proportions. I'm also going to try and go to the gym at night during the week. I've gone the last couple days and hope to keep it up. I'm ready to be healthier and proud of my body!
That is all for now. It's been pretty busy this past week, and I'm eager to learn a lot my last semester and gain more experience at my new job! I will report more on it later once I get the hang of things.
