Chilean Miners visit DisneyWorld

Today my friend Amber and I were lucky enough to have the day off, so we were able to go to the 3:00 parade at the Magic Kingdom and see the Chilean miners! Disney paid for them and their families to spend a week here. It was neat seeing them and their families, and the miners wore special construction hat mickey mouse ears! There were 31 miners, 4 rescuers and their families, so there was around 160 of them total. And of course Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were with them in the parade! I got the best picture ever with one of the miners. He surprised me by putting his construction hat on me right before the picture was taken. I felt so special! I have so much respect for these heroes and am so grateful Disney provided them with an awesome vacation!


Before the parade, we went to Animal Kingdom and watched the Festival of the Lion King. It was pretty neat!
