I'm a college graduate!

So it's official... I'm a college graduate! The last week of school was filled with a lot of packing, cleaning, and saying goodbye to my wonderful friends. It was a lot of things I didn't want to do, but I am glad to have achieved a bachelor's degree and now the search for a job begins!

My dad and Cathy got here Thursday afternoon, and the rest of my family got here a few hours later. I was able to give my dad and Cathy a little tour of the BYUI Center and where they would be going during graduation. I also went out to dinner with them and Cathy's niece, Ashley, and Ashley's husband. It was great visiting with them all.

After dinner, I headed over to Idaho Falls to see my mom and the rest of my family that came for my graduation. They were dying to see my nephews Asher and Abbott, who have grown so much in just the three months they saw them last. I met them while they were eating dinner, then we all headed over to the Idaho Falls Temple. My family hasn't been there at all since I started college so they wanted to go there before I graduated!

I love this photo of smiley Abbott!

Aren't we such a great looking family?

The next day was the day of my graduation. Besides all the final packing and cleaning that needed to get done, I was able to get my cap and gown and realize that I actually would be graduating! Where did the time go the last 4 years?

Before graduation, we were able to eat dinner on-campus which was not only convenient, but so delicious! My cousin Chandler's wife was graduating after taking classes online, so we were able to see Chandler during dinner which was a real treat!

After dinner it was time to get into my cap and gown and take some photos with the family.

While lining up before Commencement started, I was able to get some photos with my friends that were graduating as well!

Commencement was pretty neat. President Clark and Elder Don R. Clarke did a great job talking to us. A couple of my friends that were graduating chose not to go to commencement, since you don't have to. But I wanted to experience everything on my graduation day, and I am so glad I went to commencement. It was quite the spiritual experience.

Convocation was great as well, even though by that time all the graduates were giddy and just ready to be done! I couldn't believe it was all over when it ended. I hope I go back to BYU-Idaho sooner than later because I already miss it!

I did it!
