Today I had a pretty hectic day. I guess my Mondays are always pretty hectic, considering it's the beginning of a new week and I am bombarded with new assignments for work and my classes. I am the type of person that thinks I need to get everything done asap, but I need to learn to spread out my normal weekly tasks and realize they are called "weekly tasks," not "daily tasks," for a reason.
Once my day was finally coming to an end, I pondered about the future. I tend to do that a lot. But I was thinking about how the little things I do everyday, although they help me learn and become a better person, aren't as significant as the plans that God has in store for me. I can keep doing the little things everyday, but in the long run, will they matter as much as the bigger things, like praying, reading my scriptures, serving others, and sharing the gospel? Nope. Not at all.

Quotes like these give me hope that even though my days may be hectic and stressful at times, in the long run, God has a plan for me that outweigh the stress my days can bring. Doesn't that just make you happy? It sure makes me smile! I know that all my hard work and effort I put into everyday will pay off someday.
