We talked about past memories of our fall semester together in 2009. It was such a fun semester with those two girls! Lets go down memory lane and take a look at some pictures from that semester, shall we?
Fall '09 Semester's favorite memories include:
Canoeing,
Hiding in random places,
Decorating our apartment for Halloween,
Pulling pranks, mainly on our ridiculously loud and mean upstairs neighbors,
Dressing up as men... ugly men.
Being goofy and laughing non-stop!
Laura and I left on Thursday. We were lucky that the roads weren't bad at all, because it had snowed hard the night before! I was scared we wouldn't be able to leave until Friday, but we were able to go Thursday afternoon!
When we got to Willy's house, it was so exciting seeing her and her family again! They were all so welcoming. Laura has such awesome parents and younger siblings. Even one of her dogs, Houston, decided to cuddle with me!
Me, Laura, and Willy talked and talked and caught up on life for a good few hours Friday night!
On Friday, since Willy had class, Laura went with me to BYU-Idaho's campus so I could meet a faculty member and talk about a possible job opening he has. It was good to meet him and understand more about the job I want... really really badly... during next semester. He said he would keep in touch about a possible interview later on. I also went and showed Laura the BYUI Center since she hasn't seen it since it's been complete. She was amazed at how huge it was!
The majority of my Friday was spent with my awesome roommate from last semester, Taylor! I have missed her so much. We went to Mill Hollow for lunch. Laura and Taylor have so much in common, from the same majors to boy issues! So I'm pretty sure they enjoyed each other's company.
Here is Taylor and I before Laura and I were about to head back to Willy's house later Friday evening.
Friday evening we watched a movie in Willy's movie theater room in their barn. I have missed watching movies in there! The screen is huge. It's fun to hang out up there.
On Saturday, I hung out with Holly, Bentlee, and Brad all afternoon. Bentlee is so big and silly! I love his laugh and entertaining personality. I am so sad I didn't take any pictures while I was with them! It didn't even cross my mind! But I have missed them so much so it was great having a fun afternoon with them!
That night, Laura and I played games with Willy and her family. We played Wackee Six and Tile Rummy. Wackee Six is a lot like Ligretto. I was tied for first place with Willy! We also stayed up talking for a long, long time. Willy told us the funniest and craziest stories from her mission. I definitely don't think I want to ever live in Oregon when I'm older!
It was so sad leaving this morning. It was so great being able to catch up with Willy and see her family too.
Luckily the drive home went by pretty fast. Laura and I kept ourselves entertained doing whatever we could think of...
